I am so sorry you are going thru this... I can understand the pain, But please be strong , I had 2 miscarriages myself and the 2nd time it was a missed abortion there was not heart beat, so my OB suggested that I should get a D&C and send the sample for genetic analysis, that's when they found out the baby had genetic disorder and stopped growing, we went back to the OB and she said both my husband and I should get karyotyped and low and behold my husband came back positive for balanced trans location, though that will not cause him any health issues, the embryo if they are formed with unbalanced sperm I will miscarry, so that told us the cause for our miscarriages and we met a genetic counsler who told us that we have 1 in 4 chances of having a healthy baby... or it will end in MC, we are trying and praying that we get our chance. So I strongly recommend that you get your hormones and karyo typing done to get some answers, even though I was devastated when we found out, it some how gave me hope that one day it will happen and I just need to be prepared for the MC and not dicouraged, answers always help us plan and give us a reason to continue....so please don't lose hope be strong and work towards figuring out the cause... I will be praying for you...
I know what you are going through and I'm so sorry you're going through this. I've had four miscarriages myself. I have had two live births though. My oldest daughter who is now four was a twin to begin with. I lost the other one early on. They then did a bunch of blood work and fount that I have something called antiphospholipid syndrome. I would suggest you be tested for that if you haven't yet. With this disorder I would lose my babies all before 9 weeks and they would stop developing around 6 weeks. Now when I find out I'm pregnant i just have to take a baby asprin every day and take a lovenox shot every day. I'm now expecting my third. So talk to your doc about this. It sounds just like what I went through for so long
hey, keep strong.i'm sorry you r going thru this.God bless and best wishes for the future.
Ok, I see. I do hope they can help you find out what is wrong. Good luck with the insurance approval. Peace to you during this difficult time.
I'm gonna call around as soon as I check with insurance. I still have to go tomorrow for a physical. It's bad when you love the nurses more than the doctors. The nurses have been amazing to me there.
The other doctors I use to have put me on progesterone immediately when they checked the levels. They said that I would continue to be on it until the placenta took over completely. Unfortunally they perscribed me all I needed to get through those 14 weeks or so and they expired in June so I threw them away when we moved.
I don't think it's just progesterone that's causing me to miscarry. I was on the progesterone last time I was pregnant and still miscarried. So, I'm just waiting for the approval from insurance.
I cannot imagine what you are going through.
I took progesterone the first trimester. It's a simple test and prescription. I took Crinone for about 8 weeks then Prometrium for 4 weeks. I hope they can help you with that. It frustrates me that low progesterone could be the issue and yet the docs have let you suffer through multiple miscarriages.
Do look into other doctors...
