Not all women go through labor at all and you may not be noticing you contractions (Braxton Hicks or real) your baby may not be ready to come yet. You could possibly go over due or your Dr may have to induce labor. Don't stress about it. A stressed mommy makes for a stressed baby :)
I agree with the prev post and just to add to it... braxton hicks have been occuring since around the 6 week mark....just because your not noticing them doesnt mean they are not happening... some woman dont feel them or reccognize them...
I was induced with my first as i didnt go into labour and wasnt dialated pretty much at all... they broke my water as well...
If anything, I think you would be more well-rested and prepared for the upcoming effort you will need to put forth since you haven't had lots of disrupted sleep with slow, early labor signs! Neither my sister nor I had early signs but both of us had typical deliveries. Mine was a bit on the long side so it was great to be well-rested heading in to it.
Don't worry! I didn't notice Braxton hicks at all with my first! My water didn't brake (they had to brake it at the hospital and I lost my mucus plug one morning and the next morning I was holding my little girl. I had her at 40 weeks and 1 day :D
Thanks:) everyone for the advice.
