Being induced Friday still not dilated

Doctor using a cream to open my.cervix. Takes twelve hrs. Is this painful?

:-)  true she's full term anyway.... Ready...yes and no...i still have some chores to complete...laundry, mopping, his room isn't totally sorted out yet...although he'll be in my room for the first 5 months.  i have a birthing book that i wanted to complete. But other than that yeah, i can't wait to see him.

Thank you girly I keep having high blood pressure and the doctor said if I have any protein in my urine she wanted to induce friday to avoid any chances of preeclampsia and sure enough I did... So I get to deliver a week early. I'm not really okay with it. I really wanted her to come on her time but I guess its better to be safe than sorry... ahhh.... lol

Oh wow...why are they inducing you already and you're not over due? Hang in there, hope all goes well.  Do a lot oF breathing to relax your body and visualize happy thoughts which will therefore cause your pain to subside.
