Please Help

Hi Guys, I would really appreciate some help with this as I have not discussed this with anybody. I cheatde on my boyfriend July (the 28th, with a condom), in Nov I found out I was pregnant, having had periods in Sept and Oct, can't remember getting one in Aug, went for a scan on the 4th Jan when they dated me at 13w 2d, but this means I would have got pregnant before my period in Oct, I know this is really irrational but does anybody think there is a remote chance I got pregnant to this guy I cheated with in the summer, meaning the scan dates would be out by about 8 weeks, as you can still get your period and be pregnant, I know I'm probably being really stupid but its worrying me to death which is no good for baby, any comments really would be appreciated x

when i had my scan they said 13w 2days so i now am 14w 5 days, no idea if its a boy or girl yet, but everyone has said boy when they look at the scan pic, im hoping for a girl but won't mind as long as its healthy, im trying my best to be calm and talking to you has helped and like i said youv been very reassuring just felt sick to think there was any chance it might not be my boyfriends xx

It is awful, i honestly wish it'd never happened but like you say we all make mistakes and that is one i will never make again. No hun i've not told him, sometimes I think about telling him, but like you say what he doesn't know won't hurt him, thank you for reassuring me the baby is his, its so nice to be able to talk about it and get other peoples opinions so thanks again - it means a lot. x

i know it must be awful being in that situation but im 100% sure the baby must be your bfs,u said you have learned your lesson so dont let the guilt take over.it was 1 mistake which you regret,we all make mistakes hun.just enjoy your pregnancy.have u told your bf wot happened?if i were you i wouldnt, what he doesnt know wont hurt him,and you dont want him questioning whether hes the dad or not, when u know the baby is most definatly his.x

Thank you for your reply, i have soo learnt my lesson, been with my boyfriend for 6 years we were going through a bad patch - no excuse i know, id never cheated and still feel guilty everyday, the main reason i was worried as i defiantly had periods in Sept and Oct cant remember about Aug but like you said some women can still bleed during early pregnancy, i know its quite irrational to think that the sonographer could have got the dates wrong by 8 weeks but just didn't know if there could have been a chance, thanks again.

its pretty easy math if you look at it.  i am 17w5d pg and i concieved in sept.  dont go by if you think you had a period.  some women do have some bleeding in early pregnancy and mistake it for a period.  go by the dates from the scan.  if you were pg from the guy you cheated with, then your baby would be closer to 20w and there is no way the drs could be that far off.

lesson learned, dont cheat lol.
