Please help... something is not adding up!

at my first ultrasound they measured crl to be 9 weeks 3 days but dated back I was on my period at that time... so even if I do the 2 week thing and say the actual age is 7 weeks 3 days... would work for around the time I was ovulating but I found out I was pregnant one week after ovulation.... which does not make sense to me as I thought it took 3-5 weeks for a pregnancy test to pick up pregnancy... could I be further along ??

First day last period March 28
Positive Pregnancy Test April 24
Ultrasound June 3

If the first day of your LMP was March 28th, you would've been 9w4d at your ultrasound on June 3rd, so you would've only measured one day behind which is pretty on point. That means you would have ovulated the 11th of April and found out that you were pregnant almost two weeks after conception, at a day shy of four weeks, which happens.

My first ultrasound I went in thinking I was around 12 weeks based off LMP.. Was only 8w 6d. My periods were never exactly regular (did not come same day every month, sometimes a week or week and a half off) so I figured it had something to do with ovulating.

The ultrasound is at that early on is probably accurate, I would go by that.

You probably ovulated earlier. Not everyone ovulates 2 weeks after their menstral cycle.

It's possible to find out you were pregnant one week after ovulation if you use an early-results test (though they don't always work that early).  But I actually get from your dates, if you were told that you were 9 weeks 3 days GA on June 3rd, that you found out you were pregnant 12 days after ovulation, not a week.  (Counting back on a calendar I get April 12 for ovulation.)  It's perfectly normal to find out 12 days after ovulation, by then the embryo would have implanted and have been sending out hCG for a few days.

Perhaps you ovulated earlier than you thought. Its possible to get pregnant on your period, not to mention semen can live inside the vagina for up to 5 days.

When it comes to ultrasounds they're very accurate, and can get the age to almost the day (the days can vary). I would go with what the ultrasound tech told you, that's the most accurate answer you can get as they base their guesstimate off of fetal development.
