Queations about birth

Hello again everyone this is really embarrassing for me but there are some stuff about labor and birth that i have to make sure as i am a very shy person.
1.at the hospital, do i have to take off my clothes, can i wear it till i have to push or do i have to take it off so that the nurses can see.
2.i have quite alot of pubic hair that i dont want to shave, but its really embarrassing if i dont so what should i do.
3.i heard that people always poop when the starts pushing and i wonder how can i prevent it like is there and drink or something
there are tons of questions that i want to ask but these are the ones plauging me.Anybody who have gone through this please give you opinions and thoughts are also welcome

I know whilst in labour and you're pretty much ready to push and you need a wee they will use a Catheter (Cant spell) They did for my mum.
Where she needed a wee, she couldnt push and cause she needed to push she couldnt wee by herself! Or something....?

1)- yes they will put you in a hospital gown.I am guessing so you can be checked fast .
2) I would not worry about this, I am sure the Dr and nurses have seen it before!!
3) I didnt myself, I had a bowel movement right after my water broke but my sil did for both kids and she said they clean it up so fast she didnt even really know...my brother informed her! LOL

But if she is my boyfriends back up cause he has a phobia of hospps! I'll have some on anyways! LOL.

It's only a month before my 18th day when my labour is due... LOL... so untill i'm 18 its gotta be hidden LOL

Every hospital I've ever known encourages socks to help keep your feet warm.  So, you should be fine.  In case you don't remember to wear them (which could be very likely), and your mother complains - well, it'll be a perfect excuse to kick her out.  A laboring mother doesn't need family drama! :)

It depends on where you are giving birth. The birth center I go to allows you to wear whatever you want. You can eat during labor there too...which probably leads to more poop. But, why would you run a marathon without any fuel? That never made any sense to me.

Like everyone said...midwives/nurses/doctors have seen it all. I'm sure they will try to respect your modesty. I know that in a lot of cultures women are draped during labor for privacy. I would tell your nurse right away that you are shy.
