TDaP shot

Has anyone got this? I got mine yesterday and my arm hurts so bad. It feels like someone hit me. Dr said there was no risk to me or baby, but after looking into it more, alot if people aren't getting it in fear of harming baby. Whats your guys' opinions?

It is the tetanus shot..

I did...very sore arm...can last 5 to 10 days ughh :( and it bruised where the needle was inserted in my arm :(

I had mine at the doctors appt. yess my arm was soo sore after the shot. But it went away after 3 days or so. No it doesn't harm the baby.

I got mine 6 weeks post pardum. Rather have a sore arm then a sick baby

I had it back in December when my daughter got it at 6 months shots. My arm was sore a few days...

Oh yeah I haven't had that since I was a kid. I thought they gave it to you on the hospital. I'm 37 weeks and he hadn't mentioned anything about getting shots

Its for tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough which can be deadly for baby) and another I can't remember. They give it too you when you are pregnant to protect baby until he/she is old enough to get one. It lasts for 7 years

I got it before pregnancy and my arm was sore for a couple of days. They usually do it on non dominant arm.

I got mine at 32  weeks  and had my Nagy June first and she is fine
