The Simple Things

I know there's so much going on in all of our lives right now...some good stuff, some bad stuff. So I thought it would be great to start a thread about the Simple Things in Life that make us so happy!
Of course there are huge and major things that excite us, but there's so many lil things that put a smile on our faces and make us feel so happy.
Sooo with that said....two simple things that make me happy are making a fresh pot of coffee, smelling the aeroma and drinking a hot cup of it....and lighting candles. Those two little things put such a smile on my face :)

just to be able to spend one day in bed all day long just cuddling with my husband when there is snow outside.
to hear my niece as she giggles and copies anything you say. (she's 1)
