just sharing and want to know what you think
hello ladies,
i just want to share that i got a faint positive this morning! i was confident that i am for the past two weeks. but i didn't want to get my hopes up. my last cycle was 5 days early so i wasn't sure if i would get af on thursday or last saturday. so i got anxious today and tested anyway. and i am sooooo thrilled and excited. i just know its a yes and we will have a sweetheart in 9 months. hubby needs a stronger yes before exploding with joy though, so he is off getting another test for me to do in a few days. i kinda want him to be more excited but i can understand how he is feeling too. i mean, he doesn't have this magical feeling of just knowing because he's not the one that is pregnant. but i keep assuring him that a faint positive is still a positive and its unlikely its a false positive. also, its not like it was a cheap test either. so i am confident, just gotta prove it to him now. : ) but i am so happy and i can't wait for him to have that same feeling of self assuredness.. if thats a word even. anyway!!! am i right? small chance of false positive then? i mean...we're doing another test anyway, its just nice to be reassured about it.

That's great to hear. Congrats and hopefully everything goes well untill you app. If it was faint at the doctors then you must have just recently concieved. I'm gald and happy for you and I wasn't giveing you false hope with my opinion, everyone needs to know the best,good, and worst possible ways things turn out. keep us updated!

First off congrats! But I do have to correct people when they say no matter what a line is a line....Not always true. I didn't have a cheap test either I hat ept and I had a faint line as well, matter fact I took two in a two week gap and got the same results...positve. Went to the doctors and it was a negitive. So no not all faint lines are a deff. yes. Hopefully in your case it is. Your best bet is to get a digital ept them are really good to. I just tested not that long ago and got my positive, went to the doctors and it was positive. So I could see exactly what your husband is saying. And about telling the family.....yeah I would wait but from experiance it is very hard. I try to wait at least till i'm 3months to tell just because I've had misscarriages before, and I don't want to spread the news and then misscarrie. I'm not saying that you're not preggo, I just had to clarify that a line is not always a yes. But good luck and for your next test get a digital. Keep us posted and lots of baby dust to you

thanks for the well wishes. that was my first thought after, oh my god we did it!! was...hope everything is okay for the next nine months. and i just want him or her to be healthy. oh i am so happy. you guys are the first person/people we shared with. hubby wants to feel more confident before we spread the news...do you think i should wait three months before telling our families? how do you guys feel about sharing too soon? think that will jinx things and watch i'll have a miscarriage?! that is my first concern right now as that would be the first scary thing to happen. but i'm really positive about things and i am confident that things will go smoothly. : ) thanks everyone for being a part of this happy moment for me.

YAY im soo happy congrats i wish you a happy healthy nine months and when you get that positive again im sure you hubby will be soo excited
Congrats!!!! A faint positive is still a positive so yes you are pregnant!!!! Hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months
