intense pain under right rib...

So yesterday I started getting a sharp pain on my right side, it was mild & I thought it would go aaway just like all my other pains, however it seems to have gotten worse.
I haven't managed to get a full hour of sleep. I'm tossing and turning and every once in a while a certain turn will make it hurt badly. The pain seems to be spreading to my back aswell.
I actually have my monthly appt today at 3:50pm, its currently 5:30am here. Should I call my doctor now, or should I wait until I see her.
I was planning on going to get the glucose exam done today also, but this pain is unbareable at this point..
(I'm 27 weeks pregnant, 28 on saturday)

Thank you.

I had this a few weeks ago.. Probably 23 weeks, they told me it happens when baby gets up there and you just have to wait till baby moves, sure enough it went away but it was so painful! Good luck!

It could be a sign of toximia or at that point the baby is rapidly growing and his it her feet could be up in your ribs and you have bruised or even broken one. My boyfriend broke a few of his moms ribs while he was in the womb and from what she says it was pretty painful

Could be kidney or liver, but it can be a sign of toxemia so make sure you let your doctor know
