I'm 17 and I'm almost 10 weeks. My boyfriend has already told his whole family and theyre all really excited. I've told my mom and step dad, and my moms wanting to help out. But I haven't told my dad and step mom, and I'm really scared too. I don't really know how to tell them, because I know they won't take it well. and I live with my dad so I haven't seen a doctor yet and me and my boyfriend are starting to worry about the baby..? Should the baby be okay?

If it is possible have your mom take you Monday, and then go home to your dad's. It might comfort you enough to help you tell him.

Tell him right away, its not going to get any easier the longer you wait.  I would just do it now and get it over with!  With that said my doctor doesnt even start seeing patients until 12 weeks.  Baby should be fine!

Thanks! I want to be able to see the baby and hear the heartbeat so bad, I'm excited for that. I'm just worried about if the baby is healthy and everything is how it should be, so yeah I'm going to tell him this week I think. But thank you, you just relieved some of my stress (:

I'm 17 also and I haven't told my mom yet but my bf told his family and they are supportive and very happy they took me just the other day to the hospital and we acted like I was having cramps so that I could see the baby for the first time cause I'm 18w3d and was so worried but I saw the baby and it was moving and kicking so cute and I heard the heart beat it was so relieving!! Idk how to tell my mom I'm really scared as well but we can't hide it forever so I'm probably going to tell her soon just come out and say it to him he will be mad maybe at first but will learn to get past it good luck!!

I know I need to tell him, I'm just being a baby about it. But I have been eating good, I've been looking up what I should and shouldnt have just to be sure. My mom was going to take me this weekend since ill be at her house but nothing is opened on the weekends.

My cousin got pregnant January 2012 and didn't tell anyone till June because she was scared. Luckily when she finally went in the baby was okay, but she wishes she had gone much sooner.

I would tell your dad asap, you're gonna have to get the courage, especially if you're going to be raising this baby in his house. You need see a provider before your first trimester is over. Are you at least taking prenatals and eating healthy?
