I need opinons from already moms

My Hubby's mom really likes the idea of me wanting to breast feed and has offered to buy me a Medela breast pump. Shes been looking up reviews and blogs and says theyre the best and wants me to choose which one I want they come with bags and idk what else. I'm so excited but now I feel pressured. Im going to be a first time mom what if I can't breast feed! I mean I made my decision that I would try but idkk!! Do you think i should have her wait to buy it after the baby comes? I'm 21weeks.

They have a product that is made from a tea. It is called "milky " and helps your milk supply, look it up. Also, take a class they show you how to breast feed and give you tips. Good luck!

I'm not really sure. You need to eat healthy, not a lot of caffeine. When your baby is born they'll show you how and tell you all the information you need to know. If your baby latches on, girl you got it. The more you feed the more and more milk you will make. Also when you're using the pump, and they'll probably tell you this. Don't just pump and not feed for a while as in like a few days, you can dry up from that. That's how some women in my case did dry up after you don't want to breast feed anymore. Just pump all the time and over a week you won't produce any more milk.

I breast fed for a year and it was a really amazing experience.  The bond also makes you closer. You won't know until the baby is born about your milk supply and how well the baby latches on, but if you make the choice to breast feed, it'd be better to have a breast pump so you'll be prepared. You can always take it back or sterilize it and sell it or keep it for your next baby. It's just always good to have it just incase. (: It is very healthy for the baby and does help keep the baby from getting sick as much. It's totally your choice. Also you're mother in law is probably just so excited she wants to help, but don't let her pressure you too much and get stressed out, either way your baby won't go hungry. If you can't breast feed it's not your fault and she'll have to get over that. Formula isn't as great as breast milk, but still gives your baby what it needs. (: good luck and I hope everything goes well!

Take it from me I regret not breastfeeding my boys elder has major allergies and I blame my self. If the baby dosent wanna latch on just pump and give him a bottle I definitely wanna at least breast feed emma for 6 months.
