Ultrasound questionn!

My mother in laws best friend does ultrasounds, and brings home her machine every night. She doesnt do fetal ultrasounds and checks for blood clots and stuff in old people lol. She gave me an ultrasound last week and it was so cool! But I was just wondering, how do you tell if its a boy or a girl? What if you mix up the peepeee and the cord?

My tech checked the blood flow of the cord so we could see the difference between weewee & cord because they were laying right next to each other & you can also see their little testicles so thats hard to confuse with cord.

A boy you will see two circles with a line in between. It's very obvious if its a boy.
