You have more of a chance by going natural. With an epidural you shouldn't be able to feel much so the doctors tend to cut where they think you need it instead of it happening naturally plus a higher chance of needing forceps or a vac to pull out baby. Good luck
You can't control tearing or not I mean these kegel exercises might help but might not work. I tore a bit and I got stitched up looks pretty normal to me down there but when I finally had sex it hurt like hell
Listen to everything the doctor says while you're pushing. When they say push you push. When they say stop you stop. 2 babies all natural and not a single tear or stitch yet! I did zero prep work before hand. Didn't do perineum massages or anything. You could always try the massage though.
Yeah there's really no way or stopping that, if it needs to happen it will no matter what
I mean I don't know about all natural techniques to prevent tearing or that, other than doing kegles. I did get the epidural (though it didn't work right so I still felt everything waist down) but I didn't even know I tore until the Dr was like "okay lets stitch you up!". In the midst of pushing out the baby everything down there hurts, its sort of hard to centralize specific pains. Unless you tear really bad you probably won't notice much. Good luck! Try not to stress about it (:
