Weird Question

I'm a deer hunter. I have been for nearly 10 years. By the time hunting season opens I will be 6 months pregnant.  Now, I'm not banking on there being many hunters on here so this is quite a long shot but my question is;
Is it safe to shoot a gun while pregnant?

The noise won't hurt the baby.  They're very well protected in there.  My dr said it was fine to go to the shooting range, but your gun sounds more powerful!  I'd ask to be sure. I went to a monster jam show (with loud monster trucks) and it was safe. When in doubt,  just ask your dr.

Well it depends on what kind of gun you are shooting really. If you are shooting a hand gun then yes, it is aim breath and fire. With a shoulder stock gun of any kind, you have to have the butt of the gun pressed hard on your shoulder at the time of firing or it is going to feel like you just got punched...really hard. My concern comes from a shoulder stock type gun. They tend to be much louder and the one I have could knock you on your butt if you aren't careful. I've also heard some things about lead poisoning and from extra reloads. On top of that, some worry about how the noise can hurt the hearing of the baby.
