Congrats on the girl!!!! So many medhelp babies are girls this year. I remember it was the same when I got pregnant with Conner in 08!!!
Congrats, found out yesterday im also expecting a girl!! =D x
Congrats Hun!!! That is sooo exciting we find out next Friday what our baby is whooo
Congrats on the baby girl!!!
Awesome! Maybe I WON'T have to go buy new white onesies!
when I was pregnant with my oldest I had some of my friends parents give me baby clothes they had used on their kids that were at the time MY age....so the clothes had sat in storage for YEARS and we STILL got most of the stains out. That's why I don't refuse any clothes with spit up stains becuase 9 times outta 10 I CAN get them out :)
LOL! Thanks, that's when you know you're a mom, lol! Anyways, I've never heard of the Clorox II/Dove trick...I don't know if it'll work on my stains...some are already two years old!
rofl....good one, Cass. I hope that works on my bedsheets because I let Boomer nap with me and the stains he leaves from spit-up look like...well...."stains" because our sheets are so dark. LOL if they were real stains we'd have the most active sex life. ever.
GAWD I'm a dork, I got so caught up in the "ooh ooh I can get spit up stains out" that I forgot the CONGRATS ON THE GIRL!!! I'm so happy for you!!!
I can give you guys a good recipe for removing spit up stains. Works great, atleast it has for me. My mom gave it to me...
Fill the sink or a bucket with the hottest water the particular fabric can handle, then mix equal parts of WHITE dove dish soap and powdered Clorox II. You can't use the generic or the liquid or it doesn't work as well. For a bathroom sized sink I wuold mix a half cup of each and stir it up in the water, letting the clorox ii disolve. Then place the clothes in and make sure the stained areas are saturated. Let soak for a few hours then come back with a tooth brush and scrub the stains then resoak...repeate if necessary.
If that still doesn't get the stains all the way out try making a paste of the dove and clorox ii and using the toothbrush to scrub it into the stain really good and let it sit awhile, then moisten it and scrub again and keep repeating.
I have found very few spit up/puke stains I couldn't remove with that :) Just remember not to put darker fabrics that are likely to bleed in with light ones. I made that mistake once!!!
I don't know...I think I've told you a story or two about her, lol. She's just plain weird, to say the VERY least.
I'll be back in Jan. maybe for a few days/week before then to get my car up here. I actually thought about giving you some of Elijah's old clothes, but they're all stained from him spitting up so much!!
I told Josh we definitely have to go clothes shopping now because I have NO newborn winter clothes, and obviously no girl clothes at all.
Oh man how can she handle that? I'd die from curiosity and my MIL would too, lol. she loves to buy stuff by the truckloads so she would go nuts not being able to buy for a girl or a boy.
oh man it's too bad you're not still in FL, I could send you home with so many cute girl clothes...I'm trying to get some to Joy right now, but she wants older sizes so I've still got quite a bit of little baby girl stuff!
Oh, I'm not worried about you saying anything on FB for MY parents...it's DH's mom. My parents already know from the 15 week u/s. Josh's mom is the ONLY person who doesn't want to know...
yay!!!!!! you definitely get your girl, how exciting :)....everyone on my FB who's having their second is having the opposite gender of what they had the first time, too funny.
and don't worry I wont' say anything on FB, I know you're wanting to tell the grandparents first :)
We did get a little bit of face in two pics, one open mouthed and the other not. I might have to go back because we couldn't really get a clear shot of the face and the tech said they like to be able to see the face too...I won't complain, it's another chance to see my baby!
Yay! Congrats girls are SOOO much fun! I'm sorry you didn't get to see the face though. :(
YAY at least you are 100% sure now go team PINK
