Breast milk is better its natural easier for baby to digest reduces chances of sids n reduces chances of colds longs u are doing it right it shouldn't be uncomfortable the hospital can teach u or u can join a support group u can still have a life if u breast feed u can choose to pump!

If you want to have a life and schedule then formula. My first never had a problem with it. She developed perfectly fine. And mommy and daddy worked together on a schedule and slept. Jones how much she was getting at all times. I'm a stay at home mom now so I might try breastfeeding this time

Your baby potentially being allergic to the protein in cows milk has nothing to do with breastfeeding milk. They are VERY different. SMH

Breastfeeding for sure. Even though it can mke u feel uncomfortable it is best for baby. I HATE breastfeeding but with my first I did it for 3 wks till I got sick and couldbt produce enough but I still brrastfed with formula feeding then it just got annoying and my milk was pretty much gone so I completely stopd the boob at 6 wks. I actually do think though that formula is really good and healthy too, my daughter is super healthy!!

Breast is best but if you can't for whatever reason then formula is not too bad. Like the formula companies say "nothing compares to breast milk but formula is the next best thing". It's a personal choice for everybody but I personally am a bit of an advocate for breastfeeding. Lol. X

I expressed and used formula as I didn't feel comfortable with feeding from breast and like the ladies have said it means ur partner can help out too. Thing is with breast milk is it can.take a while to come through and it's not as thick to start with so my lil 1 always seemed hungry which is wen I.topped him upwith formula, hope this helps

Breastfeeding is definitely best for baby and actually is great for you too! The longer you breastfeed the lower your chances for certain cancers and such. I would suggest attending a la leche league meeting in your area before giving birth to help build a support system, the number 1 reason women fail to successfully breastfeed- lack of support. And try not to worry about it being awkward...its an amazing bonding experience, there is nothing like it and a lot of things you think are awkward now, will become normal after having your baby!

Breast is best, but formula is ok too. I think the first few weeks are when the baby gets the most important nutrients from the breastmilk. My little girl is just over 3 weeks old, and I had to have emergency surgery last weekend. My supply took a huge hit even though I've been trying to keep it up through pumping, so I've been supplementing, and may switch over completely. Its a personal choice though, and just know to go with whatever happens, because both are just fine. :)

Breastfeeding is best for your babies growth and development. Don't worry about it being awkward.. it's a natural thing. You can always pump your milk too

Everyone says that breastfeeding is better because it helps the baby get more nutrition and helps prevent them from catching a cold. But I'm not going to breastfeed, my baby might be lactose intolerant because my hubby is. I also don't want to because I think I would feel extremely uncomfortable doing it lol..
