Ok here's the deal this last cycle was totally weird I spotted for 3 days and bled for 4. Would i count the first day of spotting as the first day of my period need to know asap. just making sure i did things right because i counted from the day i spotted and when i was supposed to ovulate i got "ovulation pain"  im just hoping i did this right...Thanks ladies!!!

Yup! Start counting form the first day you have blood whether it's spotting, light, or heavy. Good luck!!

yes generally you do count it as the first day of your cycle as this is still your uterine lining begining to shed
