I had my daughter all natural even though i had no choice because she was a pre`mee weighting only 2 1/2 pounds but i was 16 at the time and took all the pain i am now 24 and i like pain when it comes to some things and i really want and think i can do an all natural birth i'm just so sick of family and strangers saying i cant do it or i will chicken out even my doctor tried to change me and my fiancee mind after we told him our birth plan

I just wanted to share and see if anyone else have people downing them

Yea I had lots pf ppl telling me I was crazy for trying to do natural I went 13 hours tho meds free but once they gave me that pitocin I couldn't bear the pain but I was proud at myself for lasting that long without meds I ended up needing a c section tho

I got that my whole pregnancy, and was sooosick of being treated like I was crazy. Its so insulting. Like yes people, I know it will be painful but I'm doing what is best for me and baby based on extensive research and i trust my body. And fyi, I'm 5'2", weighed 110 before getting pregnant, and easily delivered a 8lb 4oz baby

It's no ones place to tell you what you can and can't handle. I know my body and my limits and I'm not sure I could handle natural birth all too well. I mean obviously I could do it because women have since the beginning of our kind. But I feel like I'd pass out hahaha. But you know your body and your limits. Who cares what they say when you know you can.

First let me start with I totally agree with you! I am a ftm and wish to also go natural, however I do hate when people say that "women have been giving birth for thousands of years" keep in mind that other than the past 100 years or so childbirth was always aone of the leading causes of death in women. I am all for delivering naturally but I will accept medical intervention should any unforseen issues arise

People have had natural births for how long now? The whole human race! A woman doesn't need an epidural or any other drugs.. You can do it!! And I can do it!
However, it's ultimately the mother's decision and can do whatever they're comfortable with. Also, whatever is best for baby if there are health issues.

Im on the same boat as you. I want a natural birth, ftm here and I dont want an epidural, hear bad things about it. Everytime I say this to people they tell me well its your first you dont know what to expect, you wont be able to handle the pain and so forth. I hate it, no one know what I can handle but me. I know it will hurt and I expect this,  wish peopld could just be positive and supportive.
Hate when doctors push people on the epidural, thats why I am making a birthing plan and handing it to them saying I dont want to be pressured into something I dont want to do.
I agree dont let people get to you, you know your body and what is best for you. Good luck hun and dont stress over it. :)

It will just make you that much more determined to do it! You can do anything you set your mind to.

Don't let ppl get to u or have power over u to make u mad just go into labor with an open mind remembering ever labor is different if u can handle all natural then that's great its your choice n body but if u do end up getting the epidural doesn't mean u are a chicken or failure its there for u if u need it
