Into labor before the scheduled c section? Sorry my phone decided to post before I was ready lol
I think those who have theres scheduled ahead of time r women who have had previous c sections im not to sure though
I don't know every circumstance, but I have seen if there is a medical reason like breeched baby, or some ladies are tiny and cant push naturally. Most of the time I have seen them scheduled with doc. Sometimes their are emergency c sections....fetal distress, worn out mama too exhausted to push, high blood pressure ( I think )....and some other reasons. Im sure other ladies will have better input.
Some babies are breach so they schedule a c-section if they haven't rotated, some women have complications that can endanger the babies life and the mothers life so they schedule c-sections, plus what mommygg said, it just depends ya know?
Pre eclampsia, gestational diabetes, breeched baby, pervious c sections, are all reasons but it depends on your circumstance and medical history
i agree with all the above. i had one 3 weeks ago because after my sons heart rate kept dropping dangerously low after a 6 day stop-start labour then a 9.5 hour active labour where i got to fully dilated but he was not coming, and when i was pushing his hr dipped to below 100 so they had to get him out fast. the next day, the consultant came to see me and said i won't be able to give birth naturally as my pelvis was too narrow and that's why my son wouldn't come as he was literally stuck, so if i have any more then i will need to have another section x
I've had 3 and my 4th will be sometime in sept. My oldest was breech and I was afraid of trying to turn her so my doc sxheduled one around 39 weeks. My other 2 were repeats except my last one came early so I went to the hospital (he broke my water) and as soon as they could....which was several hours later the on call doc delivered him and that's all she wrote. Wish I couldve had at least one of my babies vaginally, but healthy is best :-)
My friend just had to have one and hers was planned because she has this thing where her left side is taller than her right not noticeable but i guess enough that her pubic bones couldn't have handled it or something like that lol
How would you know if your not able to push out a baby naturally (I've seen that that has been a reason for csections ) sorry to post on your post! Just curious!
