i wrote a question like this in due in june!!

theirs gonna be 6years between my first and second, i had horrible experience with my first, they did a scan which said he was disabled and my placenta was failing so i got induced next day.. i had to have the tablets and drip.. they made me have epidural after being stuck at 4cm for 12 hours, in the end my when i was 10cm my sons heart rate kept dropping i had to be cut and suction cup to get him out and after all that he was 7lb 4oz and perfect, no disability's at all but its made me super nervous about this birth :( xx

My first child, natural labour was 1 1/2hours with no pain relief :( he was born at 37weeks weighing 5ibs 13. He's now nearly 8 :)

2nd child was induced as my waters broke at 32weeks, they delivered me at 35weeks. 7hours labour with pethidin, and gas n air. She weighed 5ibs 12, n is now 11months old.

3rd pregnancy now, hoping that it will be as easy as the other two. Very excited.

This one is my 3rd in 5 years... I have. 4 year old 3 year old and then thus one due in June.
I think most 1st labours are traumatic....
mine wasn't as bad as some... went into hospital at 5am...had pethidine at 8 ish...hadn't slept much.
Pethidine knocked me out..made me sleep...by 12
I was ready to push..mw didn't believe me... by
2pm he was born... but lost a lot of blood....had a lot of stitches...  but we were both OK and home the next day.  2nd was much better... stayed home
Till as long as I could... although I had contractions all day..went in at 11.30 pm ish...baby was born after they broke my waters at 11.50pm (20 minutes later). Was discharged 2 hours later..

Its been 5 years for me to. My son took 7 hours. Im short and little so am wrapped with that outcome. I only had the gas and pethadine. Umbilicol cord was around his neck and hed pooed in my tummy. They needed suction cap then he was out. Aparently the whole ward could hear me giving birth but I did it with out epidural. Hope this one is going to be just as easy. Wel not easy, as quick. Good luck.

Hi...I will also have a large gap of 5 years. My first was long and painful, I started to go into labour on Saturday morning 7 days over due, with contractions coming and going up to 4 mins apart, the night was the worst I thought I would have him at home as when I called the hospital they said to stay home! Come Sunday they subsided again, Sunday night back to 4 mins apart ALL night, Monday back to random. I was booked in for induction Tuesday morning, went to hospital Monday night with my bag packed to be told I was 4cm dilated and "nothing to write home about"...go home and come back in the morning!
We Did what we were told went home hopped in the bath, lost my plug , shaved my legs then could not take anymore went back to hospital and officially checked in.
Midwife broke my waters about 10pm Tuesday night, after being up for nearly 3 nights straight I got to 8.5cm dilated and they agreed to give me an epidural. Bliss! My son was born at 9.55am Tuesday morning and had to be "vacuumde" out, he was very over booked and 8lb 12oz and 58 cm long....
Hoping my ob will induce me on or before my due date this time around!
Also found out after he was born he was actually a posterior birth which are more painful as they are spine to spine or sideways, and you can have unruly contractions because of this?
Hope the next one just comes out nice and easy.
I had to have an episiotomy, where they cut u to allow more room, I had an epidural so Did not feel that at all...
Overall, a terrible experience but worth it in the end!
