bedrest and shopping

My boyfriend insists I use those handicapped carts that you sit down in while grocery shopping because I'm on bedrest. I feel like I would be taking away from people who actually need them cuz they can't walk. Do you ladies think it'd be okay to grocery shop with a normal cart??

And if you can't figure it out, you're in good company.  My MIL once crashed into a freestanding display of underwear and stockings and knocked it down and scattered them all over the floor.  (Her comment -- "Oh, great.")

ps -- Take your cellphone and photograph the most-often bought stuff, on the shelf.  Your boyfriend will have to do some of the shopping after the baby comes, give him a list that includes photographs and he is less likely to get it wrong.  :)

Well lets just say back in my prime ( high school) I might have hit up Walmart at 3 am multiple times while heavily intoxicated and drove those things if I could figure it out drunk you are golden.... Just make sure it's fully charged lol

Lol atleast I won't be the only one. I just hope I can figure out how to drive those things cuz if he ends up having to do the shopping I'm screwed

Hahahaha I think I might copy you, I'm not on bed rest but carrying a watermelon in my belly gets a bit heavy ! See what your bf started lol!

Bleh, I was hoping it'd be okay. Lol thank you ladies I guess ill be using the motorized carts until this baby comes out! My boyfriend will be pleased to know he was right :P

Use the motorized cart.  You aren't supposed to be up and walking around if you are on bed rest.  It can cause the uterus to begin to contract.

Lol if your on bed rest I think your bf has a point. Rather be safe then sorry when it comes to the health of your baby it's ok to be selfish :)
