Haha I wasn't going to write one then thought of all the things I specifically wanted so changed my mind
Yeah all you have to do is tell them and when people go to the desk to ask for you they will say your not there.
Im not writing one but know what I want but will tackle things when they come. Such as no formula will be given because I am breastfeeding, if there are no problems I want skin to skin right away, last time I haved to stay in bed due to monitoring but want to shower, walk, do birthing ballll, bath if they have it, etc., dont abe them ask me about pain meds but when I feel I need it at all I will tell them, once I am at a certain point during labor I want no visitors and only my husband in the room, etc. .... now that I see it written down I might type one up and just keep it in my purse.
Thankyou I wasnt going to write one as I will just take things as they come but the one thing I dont want is to make sure there are no visitors during my stay I will be making this very clear in my plan. Does anyone know if the hospital can stop visitors from seeing me ?
If you're planning to exclusively breast feed make sure that's mentioned. Also may want to include who can be in the room with you and opinions about medical intervention
my advice is try to avoid pain medication, it slows down the labour process and walk alot evn walk during contractions that helped me soooo much and during contractions focus on something while breathing, dnt freak out.
