(Continue) it depends on how ur labor goes......after that they took me to my room.
For me since my 2 pregnancies were csection. After they took the babys they take u to the recovery room and u stay there for like an hour until u rest for a little from the surgery and for them to clean the baby up. Then they bring the baby to you. When they brought the baby i was like can i feed him and they were like yes . Both of my babies latched on right away...bit i really think that it depends
It depends on how labor goes and how the hospital is. With my first I had a very high fever so I was not allowed to hold my son due to risk of seizure. With this baby I am delivering at a different hospital and they said as long as labor goes well baby is put on your chest for skin to skin/feeding right after being checked and cleaned off.
