I had my beautiful baby boy Sept. 26th at 6:26pm. He was 7.5lbs and 21 Inches long. I came for my Induction at 6am, I was already 2cm and 50% they gave me Cervidal to help me finish effacing. For some reason me and needles were not getting along they had to stick me three times just for my iv and twice for the epidural but, At lunch they broke my water and the contractions started getting serious. At about 2pm they gave me some pitocin and my epidural. Then the waiting game. At about 5pm I was 6cm and my dilation just took off I was 9cm when my Dr came in and he said he was going to do a C Section then it would be my turn to deliver. Well literally 15 minutes later my epidural went from my lower half to just my right side and it felt wierd. I asked the nurse and she checked and said I was laying wrong. She went to take out my catheter and turned out I was crowning. She rushed to get my Dr. Thankfully he just finished his C Section he came in and I just started pushing. His umbilical cord was wrapped twice around his neck but the Dr took care of him safely. My husband was absolutely amazing he was a great support to me and after the baby was born he stalked him around the hospital until he could hold him. Our 1st born who is 5 loves the baby, he can't wait to bring baby home and show him all his stuff. Ugh I am so in love with my family.
