castor oil

Im 38 weeks , I have 12 days left ... I was just wondering is it safe to take castor Oil ?

No it's not safe of it does put you into labor it could cause your baby to poop in the amneotic sac causing the baby to swallow it which is very very bad and a lot of the times leads to complications and infection. My doctor recommended me evening primrose oil in gel capsule form you can take them orally but I've heard from friends and read stoeies where they poke a hole in one end of the pill and insert it into the vagina and it puts them into labor in a decent time

Its safe, doesnt get into bloodstream so doesnt effect your baby. Worked for me! Took it at 3 and went into labor at 11(: had her the next morning. Good luck(:

It won't cause labor until your body is ready to go into labor.  It might give you the runs, if that is your goal.  In short, if you want it because you are constipated, give it a try, but if you think it is an elixir for producing labor, don't waste your time.
