child support

I'm taking my babys daddy to court because he does has rights. but i don't want to deal with him. just have the law do it. when he takes the dna test and they split out time. do they automatically make him pay for child support or do i have to ask them?

From what I know it is automatically discussed during custody cases and yes the amount he pays depends on how often he has the baby. For instance we have my stepdaughter every weekend and are now requesting to have her for her entire summer break every year. If they give that to us then the child support we pay will also drop because we have her more.

Here in texas if you go to court cs is automatically started. And the father has to provide insurance. Idk about cali though.

oh ok. because i been reading different things like because he has less time he has to pay me or something like that. i'll have to look up more. i was just hoping i get someone that experienced it.
