I conceived on January 13/14, the day of my first positive OPK and the day after my first positive OPK….BUT sperm can live 3-5 days so if you have sex before your ovulation there is always a possibility that sperm from that time fertilized your egg..
I had sex 3-4 days prior to my ovulation and the day of and day after first positive OPK and I'M HAVING A GIRL
The sex chromosome carried by the sperm has no correlation to speed or health of the sperm.
I only ask because I read boy sperms swim faster but die off quicker which is why it is more.likely to be a boy if conceived during ovulation
When you conceived does not determine sex. A girl will have two x chromosomes, xx, and a boy will have an x and y chromosome, xy. The female cell, the egg, provides the x chromosome bc that's all we have. The male cell, the sperm, provides either an x or y. Each sperm carries one or the other. In short, whichever sperm wins the race determines sex. The sex is determined at conception. There is nothing you can do to try to choose the sex of your baby in natural conception.
