So ive really been pushing for something in nursing. And I think ive figured it out. I love this. And ive been taking classes on birth and im falling in love. Not even a question. Just thought id share, any other teen moms still finishing high school and planning on college for what.? (:

I second what knufrio says.  A L&D nurse I know said that people think it is a happy job, but sometimes it can be the saddest job in the world.  I think your plan is great, the world needs more good labor & delivery nurses.  Please keep with it, going in with eyes open.  Good luck and power to you.  :)

Keep in mind being an l&d nurse isn't always happy.... If you can handle the losses that's great and im sure you will be a wonderful and compassionate nurse. Best of luck to you!
