delivery room

So i figured my dad wasn't wanting to be involved in my pregnancy or birth but tonight we were talking with my mom and i was telling them how the doctor said he would take the paper work to my ex so he can sign the birth certificate and the papers to give his rights up well anyway my dad said he gets to hold the video camera this made my whole day :) he didn't wanna know the gender or anything but he is always concerned about the baby and he wants to know how the lil guy is doing he even helps shop for the big things :) i just never thought he would want to be in the delivery room but I'm thrilled that both of them plan on being in there with me I'm so glad i have such supportive loving parents it makes things so much easier on me :)

Thanks...I'm just glad i get to have both my parents there :) my babies dad is giving up his rights so i have nobody else and i love my parents so much so I'm thrilled to have him wanna be in there :)

Thats awesome. I didnt let any one but my husband in the room too awkward for me but i can see how wonderful it is to have your family there! Ask him not to tape your vagina. Lol just your face while the baby is coming and then the baby right when it enters the world. Just a suggestion! Congrats!!

Yea my dad was there for me through my three miscarriages so i knew it wouldn't be too hard to tell him but i was still worried but it was kinda funny when i told him it was a week after my dog had gotten fixed nd jer stitches were still in nd i told him but he was upset at first then the dog fell off the couch on her head nd we both jumped and quick went to see how she was and he checked her stitches while i checked her head nd neck when we saw everything was fine we laughed at her cause she was being a goof like I'm ok see nd running around playing so it ended the conversation all together ever since he has been there for me through everything with the kiddo he is glad the father is gone cause he was an ******* nd he is taking care of me making sure I'm healthy nd eating right :) this is so great I'm so happy

Aww thats wonderful your dad is so supportive. Its scary not knowing how they'll react or feel about us being pregnant or the baby. When I told my daddy he didnt talk to me for a week. Now hes so excited. When I got my first ultrasound done he made me make him copies so he could hang them up in his house. Plus he calls me everyday asking how Im feeling and this that and the other. I was petrified he never would come around to the idea of me having a baby. Now hes one of the biggest parts of my support system :)
