How long does it take to get approved for medicaid ? Im moving from another state. I habe medicaid for this state already. Does it cover my child after she is born ? Here in MS the only way my child will be covered is if I put my bd on child support. Is it the same in Florida ??
I have medicaid for my daughter and had it while I was pregnant, she's on Staywell now which is an insurance through medicaid. You have to reapply every 6 months and if you add the childs father on your medicaid application because you can apply for medicaid and food stamps at the same time and if he lives with you, then they won't go after him for child support, I'm not sure under other circumstances. My husband and I live together so he's on my application because it asks about everyone that lives in the household whether they're applying or not.
