Thank you! will do more research on SPD & yes my doctor told me that this baby is big enough all ready and my other two weren't big my first was 6lbs2oz and my second was 7lbs14oz I sleep with so many pillows all ready haven't tried any pelvic belts or tummy support bands ..will look into that as well...Lol the last month seems to be taking for ever all ready can't wait to have my body back and feel 'normal' and pain free ..hopefully

I have bad pelvic pain as well and my doctor found out its because my pelvic floor is very weak and it will only get worse till I delivery. Which sounds like what your doctor is telling you as well. I was explained that it was because my first was so big and I so little that the muscles stretched out bad enough during the pregnancy that they never really returned to normal and that with this baby having a high chance of being bigger then my first due to genetics and the fact I developed gestational diabetes he's going to be bigger then my first and hes stretching my pelvic floor past its max. And it gets worse the more pregnancies you have , I was told I'd be on full bed rest if I were to have another baby after this one...thank goodness he's my last ;)....I use a tummy support band and lots of rest as to not over do it , but when I do I can't move without. feeling like he's going to just fall out.

Hi im not from this age group but come across your post and thought i could maybe help. I have pelvic pain and had it with my previous 2 pregnancies. Its called SPD its kind of long to explain so google it lol but its kind of were your pelvis softens too much and eventually can part completely which mine does. Theres nothing that can be done for it really. I have a tummy support like a large support sock, crutches and a pelvic belt. I get it quite bad and end up not been able to do a thing towards the end of my pregnancy. Maybe this is what you have to so its worth asking at your next app or contacting your midwife to discuss it. The only saving grace is that with most women it disappears almost straight after birth.
Hope you get sorted soon and find something to help you feel comfortable for the duration of your pregnancy.

Good luck xx
