gonna be interesting

Oh man this is gonna be an interesting couple months. (Bear with it it does relate to pregnancy) Waiting on contract acceptance for a place we wanna buy, so we're going to be moving, and get this the closing is within a few days of the babies due date (august 13th) so the question is this. What (if anything) should we look for/keep in mind in the townhome in regards to baby safety. I wanna be as prepared as possible when woot is born :)

It's really true, remember that a newborn is not going to run into the house and open the knife drawer in the kitchen.  Make sure you have a bed arrangement that satisfies you (even a play yard in your bedroom can do, if needed, for a while) and make sure you have your onesies and diapers and changing pads and receiving blankets and car seat, and the rest can come as you get going.

If closing date will be a few days of your due date, write a power of attorney for your husband that will allow him to sign the closing documents for you if needed.  You don't want to have to be signing massive stacks of papers in your hospital bed between contractions.

Well for a newborn there isn't much to worry about. As baby grows you want gates for stairs, outlet protectors , cabinet locks and so on.
