membrane sweep tomorrow

Hey mommas so I know getting a membranes sweep is like 50/50 it works great for some and some people it doesn't do anything to but I a. So scared I haven't been able to sleep iv heard its so painful, does anyone have any personal stories they can share ?

Had a sweep done today at 11  feeling some contractions it is more uncomfortable than anything a lot better than what comes after if it works (labor)

I had it done with both kids. First time did not work.. this time I blead a little and bam went to the hospital the next morning was at a 6!!
It doesn't heart anymore them getting your cervics checked. But u will cramp after

Omg ! I am 38 weeks exact today ! So I might be meeting my babu girl earlyer then I thought ! My due date is not till Aug 5th so I am kind of curious as to why my doc wants to do this so soon :s

I have the perfect story for you I had a doctors appointment this morning I was complaining oh I can't wait till he comes mind you only four more days to my due date and she goes ok be careful what you ask for and she proceeded to check my cervix and when she came out I was contracting I asked her what did she do she said a membrane sweep I got home and my water broke sitting in the hospital waiting for my baby boys arrival

I just had this done today. It didn't hurt hurt but was extremely uncomfortable and I bled a lot which I never do when I just get checked. But I'm getting induced tomorrow am and admitted tonight at 10 pm to get cervadill. Good luck hopefully it works for you ! (:

Its painful but it worked for me!! My Dr scrapped em about 3pm & that night around 11:30 started contracting & I went into labor :)

I've had it done n your right it is painful didn't work for me only having odd pains here n there good luck to you hun xx
