Just so all you ladies know, you aren't supposed to shave your vag   after 37 weeks as shaving can cause little cuts where bacteria can grow. That's what my prenatal class leader told  us, anyhow!

Sorry, just checked the news reports on that one.  She was arrested not because she was shaving while driving (which she was) but because she crashed the car when shaving her privates.  I was right that she was on the way to see her boyfriend, but mistaken about the role of her ex-husband, who was in the car.  He was taking the wheel (from the passenger seat) so she could shave while driving.  What a weird story!

Did anyone hear about the lady in Florida who was arrested because she had her ex-boyfriend shave her lady area when she was driving?  She was going to see her boyfriend, if memory serves, and he was helping her get ready.

Haha I haven't been able to see past my belly in a longgggg time. My husband will occasionally use the clippers on me when I complain I can't see past my belly lol. I'm 33+4 weeks, and he plans on doing my lady area this weekend, and after that I don't plan on doing it again until I can see my vagina on my own lol.

I figure that if when I'm delivering they don't like it, they will shave me. That's what happened with my friend, but her doctor was kind of a prude and he would do something like that. I can't see my doctor having a problem with it.

Yeah and imagine when they check they probably think like she really was being self conscious that she had to shave.lol they are just checking you up less than what 5 min. Lol don't kill yourself over things like this. I'll rather make sure I spary some vaginal scent because I get sweaty that when I open it can smell lol

Honey, once when I was getting an exam, I asked my RE (that's my IVF doc, who is of course an ob-gyn) roughly what percent of his women patients shaved.  He said, in a bored voice, "Oh, about half of them, I guess."  It was clearly no more interesting to him than if their boyfriends had a beard.  A shaven vaginal area is not expected, it's just something that some women do.  Your doc sees vaginas all day long and is not looking at yours like a Victorian art critic.
