holy kankles.....

My ankles are enormous. The swelling is so bad that when I grab my ankles it leaves an indent of my fingers like memory foam. Is that normal swelling or is it something I should be worried about?

Yea, I'll be 38weeks Thursday & had terrible swelling in feet & ankles for the past two days. Definitely mention it to your Dr./midwife...

Definitely mention it at your next appointment. Some swelling is normal but above said edema with pitting was the first sign in both of my pregnancies of preeclamplsia. Wishing you and baby well!

It's normal if you spen a lot of time on your feet it's good to lay with your feet above your heart But you definitely need to go to the doctor to get this checked out it IS a symptom of toxemia I'm first time moms

Mine too I told the Dr and they said it's normal especially since it just started at 37 weeks. He said my baby's head is down and he can feel him in my pelvic area and that means several arteries and veins are being blocked by his head and retaining water. Rest you feet up drink a lot of water believe it or not it helps and cut down on the salty foods. Mine just happened one day out of no where and it won't go away until birth.
