I was induced at 39 weeks (because i could no longer stand or walk easily due to my past hip injury) and i was in labor for 7 hours. Birth went smoothly.

Oh I was scared going in. But they numb you up so good you can feel anything. Like literally. They told me I'd feel pressure. Didn't even feel that. Took them 15 minutes to open me up and an hour to close me.up. recovery ***** though. My boyfriend has to work so I'm at home with the baby myself. Worst pain ive ever experienced. But you have that beautiful lil baby's face reminding you its all worth it

I'm only a 'fingertip' dilated and will be induced next week.
I find out my date tomorrow at my appointment.
I'm terrified! Cause I rele hope I dilate by time I have it or if not i rele hope the induction works n helps me dilate cuz I rele don't want a csection. That terrifies me! :(
I pray he decides to come on his own this week but I don't think that's going to happen

So technically I didn't have a c section cause I wasn't progressing, I had one cause the cord was compressed and her heart rate wasn't stable

I was induced at "42 weeks" I'm not convinced I was though. But my doctor lied to me. He told me he was gonna induce with cervadil and then pitocen so I could dilate first. Well went in to induction and the nurses went told anything about it. I was in labor 9 hours only got to a 2 and had the epidural. Her heart rate dropped to 66 and they concluded it wasn't safe to continue. She was born with the cord wrapped twice around her neck.

Oh ok thank you! It's just my doctor was rushing today and I thought he said that if next week which I will be 39 weeks I'm not dilating we would talk about inducing. But that I will have to dilate first. And if I don't dilate within 10 days then they induce me. Does that Sounds right? I'm just hoping I heard right since he was walking out the door while telling me.

No. But your chances of a c section pretty much sky rocket. I was a 0 going into induction. I was in labor 9 hours and then they did a c section.
