Well you can never have too many baby outfits and receiving blankets at the hospital!
Definitely a blanket for him too and a pillow. I had my boppy pillow with me to help with feedings and my husband used it to sleep or he would use a towel as a pillow.
It depends on where you give birth. My hospital provided pretty much everything. I did have 3 outfits for my son but he only needed one. The hospital kept him in their clothes since it was easier for the nurses to change him when they ran tests. The hospital does provide towels but they are rough and white so I took my own. I took my own chlorine free diapers and whipes for him but the hospital provides them too. Take slippers and socks with grip at the bottom. Sandals that you can shower in. Shampoo body was toothbrush deoderant ( for you and your husband) a change of clothes for him and maybe some comfy pants he can sleep in. Pjs for you that you can breast feed in. A robe.
I'd say call the hospital and ask them what they provide and go from there. What I mentioned is all stuff I used during my stay and I was there for four days. Some snacks for him too or coins for the vending machine. Qtips too.
Ew Haha Ok Lol I'll Pack A Few More! See, We Are Having To Pack Premie And Regular Clothes Cause It's Still On The Fence For A Few More Weeks If He Will Come Early
My son pee'd and pooped on about 4 of his outfits and one of mine lol! I'd pack about 5 extra onsies just to be on the safe side! My mom had to bring us more baby clothes from home because little man would pee everywhere when we tried to change his booty and one time he shot poop across the bed lol!!!
I'll Tell Him Haha :) Thank You And How Many Baby Clothes Did You Bring? We Have 4 Outfits Packed Right now
Also bring hubby a blanket and pillow because they don't always provide the best sleeping arrangements for the hubby's! My husband tried to sleep in the bed with me because the couch bed they gave him sucked really bad! Lol
Thank You It Does Help! :)
A lot of baby outfits! My little guy had so many accidents when we were in the hospital it was crazy!
Comfortable clothes, a few pair incase you have bleeding accidents!
Regular underwear that can hold pads! Just buy the pal at walmart because most of the time you will bleed through all of them anyway the first day or two!
Pads if you prefer a certain type even though hospital will provide them! Along with wipes and cooling spray!
Body wash and shampoo because that first shower after will feel amazing!!
Favorite blanket or pillow just to be comfy!:)
And flip flops or slippers for in the hospital because I wouldn't put my bare feet on the hospital floor lol!
Hope this helps
