how many weeks i m pregnant?

ok my last period was due in 27 april i didnt get my eriod( thanks to god) i m 8 days late now. i ovulate on 12 days of my cycle. so i want to know how many mweeks im pregnant. 3 weeks or 5 weeks??how we count week? i got my aapointment next monday may 12th.

by my method i read about, if your LMP was 4/27, your due date would be
Feburary 3rd, 2009.

they have lots of due date calculaters online just google due date predicter or due date calculater. You just need your LMP and walla! Sometimes its just easyier than trying to understand how it is figuared out, lol

LMP means last menstural period
BFP means big fat positive
BFN means big fat negative (booo!)
O means ovulation
Cm means cervical mucous
CP means cervical position (where is your cervix? High? low?

i read that a doctor will estimate due date by taking the date of your LMP and counting back 3 full months and then adding one year and 7 days.
EX: LMP was 3/19 so 3 months backward would be DEC 07, add a year = Dec 08 and then add 7 days so due date would be 3/26/08.

make sense? I'm not sure if this is how they all do it though.

You are 5 weeks pregnant if you count by your LMP and 3 weeks counting by conception. But we all here, in this forum, are using the first metod (counting by LMP).
