is eating cookie dough aafe

I mean its a possible risk but I was making toll house cookies the other night and just ate on the squares it of course has the egg and I didn't get sick, guess its really how much of the risk you want to take i did it without thinking it was so good though lol

My husband made my fav cookie dough for me last night. He just left out the egg, and it was surprisingly not as good without the raw egg but still hit the spot. I mean in no way is raw egg healthy but I think its fine without the egg.

In moderation, just like caffeine you can have somuch.. I eat the cookie dough blizzards at dairy queen, :) and sometimes plain cookie dough,yea it gives you the chance of siminila poisoning.. but before I got pregnant I would eat like a half a tube a week, its to do with your immune system

Even when i wasnt pregnant, i just did a normal batch of cookie dough but i didnt add the egg. Thats it.....i use to do it with cake dough too.

Not safe with the raw eggs in in but probably safe if you find some without eggs in it

I wouldnt eat any cookie dough cause i had boight cookie dough poptarts n i felt so sick afterwards

I love cookie dough! And craved it even more during my pregnancy but was scared to eat it..I ate the ben & jerrys chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream one time while i was pregnant and my stomach hurted so bad aftetwards..so maybe it was just me.

There are recipes for cookie dough with out the egg. Just google it.

As safe as it would be when you're not pregnant, which is to say not really. Raw eggs put you at risk for salmonella.
