Baby Shower during Holidays

So I'm due February 10th 2015 with our first child, a baby girl. I'm planning my own baby shower with the help of some friends, as I don't have any family close to me and my partners family doesn't know me too well. Anyways I'm trying to figure out if I should throw the shower Sunday November 23rd, which makes me 28 weeks & 5 days, also the week of Thanksgiving or if I should throw it Sunday December 7th, which makes me 30 weeks & 5 days but a little over two weeks before Christmas & 10 days after thanksgiving.  Its not so much for me as I'm already showing & I like to have things planned out well in advance, its more for my family and friends that are attending. Please let me know your opinions. Thank you.

I would say the 7th as well.... besides, people could use Black Friday to shop. ☺

I would say December 7th. The week before any holiday is really hectic.
