I was due 15th July 2012 with my daughter, on the 19th July I woke up at 730am needing to go to the toilet, I then realised I was loosing my mucus plug, I kept wiping and it was all gooy and clear with pink redish blood, ny contractions then started at the same time, were very light by 8pm they were a lil stronger so being my first I tought yes its time haha I went in and got checked and I was only 2cm dilatd. They sent my home and my contractions never once stopped, they got pretty bad at 2am on the 20th july and I felt I needed to push we called the ambulance and got checked and was only 3cm dilated, I had to be sent back home with a couple of panadol the pain easd a lot and I got some sleep, then I woke up still contracting and I went all day until about 1am on 21st july I couldnt handle the pain anymore I could barely walk at all. We went back and thankfully I was now 4cm so I got to stay at the hospital. At 6am I was about 7cm and was in the worst pain, I couldnt handle it anymore after already having taken other pain meds to ease it I asked for the epi, I finally got the epi 1 and half hours later and I felt like killing the doctors cauee they took so long to get the dude down to give me it, after I got it I was ready to push, after pushing for an hour and half the epi finally was fully kicked in and it was getting hard for me to feel anything to push baby out but my midwife was really helpful. Another half hour of pushing my baby girl was born at 929am on 21st July. It was such a long 2 days but I finally got to hold my baby girl :)

I had my son all natural on jan 13, 2014. I wentt in to be induced and before they gave me anything the hooked me up to the monitor and i was having contractions on my own. They then gave me pitocin to speed things up and actually get labor really going. From 7am until 5pm i had calm breathing through all my contractions. From 5pm (8cm dilated) to 6:12pm i was trying to breathe calmly but it was impossible since contract were so painful and frequent. I was shaking and moaning in pain through each contraction. At 6:12 i felt like i was going to poo and i was trying not to scream but let my pain out in loud moans (if that makes sense) and my baby boy was out at 6:19pm. :)

On the monday they got stronger rang the birting centre and told me to time them so i did finally went in at 2.10pm and at 2.50pm they sent me home as i was in very slow labour told me to go back if they got worse. All 2ghter i rang them 10 times on that day i was crying on the phone as they were really strong and pain ful they told me i wasnt having them so stayed at home at half 9 at the night i was bleeding so rang them again and again they didnt want me in so in the end my 6 year old daughter helped deliver her sister on the bathroom floor with no medical help what so ever at 10.10pm my baby daughter was here thanx to the help of her quick thinking sister who kept me calm and told me to breath and got me towels anf made sure the cord wasnt round her sisters neck x
