Did anyone else have or has a problem deciding what to name your baby girl/boy? Or did your family have negative comments on the name you really like? I love the name Leilani BUT my mom and sisters hate it and my brother in law said it sounds like layonme.

I've had the names picked out forever, my husband and I decided on them when we were about 16. And nobodies really said anything negative about the name I have for my girl, they've all decoded to nickname her doughnut though. Which is cute. Her name is Rain Eclaire. Only real problem I've had is my stupid grandmother spelling it Raine, even though all over facebook its not spelt like that. But thats about it.

Yep I decided to name my baby marli and everybody has something to say about it they keep giving me other names to choose from it's so annoying

I chose Aubreelynn for my daughter.  My whole family hates it... she goes by aubree for short.  It ***** hearing "you should have just named her aubree"...but whatever.  If you like the name,  stick with it! You're the one giving birth to her! I think leilani is a gorgeous name!
