just venting/i'm hurting emotionally
this is more or less a venting thing.... i'm a ftm, and currently not living with my boyfriend nick (we're saving up for our own place). this week is "family fun week". my stepdad is on vacation from work so all of us go out everyday of the week. well today we went to haunted trails. nick told me before we left that he might go to the ER. (for the past month or so, he's had a cough, dizzy spells and loss of appetite). when me and my family got to haunted trails i had a text saying he just got blood work and an xray done. they found a mass in his chest and fluid around his lungs. after he got the results, they sent him to get a catscan. turns out, the mass was a tumor and tomorrow theyre taking a biopsy of the tumor. they think its lymphoma though =( but they wont know for sure until after the biopsy tomorrow. i'm freaking out so much. nick is only 27 (he'll be 28 aug 30th). hes still fairly young. he's also ex military and he's usually as healthy as a horse. idk what to do. i dont want to stress myself out. but this is the love of my life we're talking about (well one of them, my other one being my unborn child). i just need someone to talk to or if anyone is/did go thru the same thing, or something similar. =(
@chelsey i'm trying. it doesnt help that i havent heard anything. its almost 11am now, and i usually would of heard something from him or his family by now. i'm going to give it till noon and call his mom and see whats going on. i'm trying so hard not to stress/worry. but its hard not to =(
I had a similar situation last year. I went to the er because I was always dizzy and I was extremely sick. They thought it was lymphoma because my catscan showed all my lymphnodes were enlarged.after running several tests they found out I had an extremely rare case of mono. I'm sorry this is happening to you but try and stay positive. Things are not always what they seem.
i hope so. i havent heard anything yet. i couldnt sleep at all last night because i was thinking about him. and the hospital he's at is over 2 hours away from me
I'm sorry to hear, I will be praying for your little family. God has a plan for you and you WILL get through this.
thanks ladies. i'm just worried because he called me and told me if anything happened he wants me to take custody of Brandyn (his almost 2 year old son from a previous relationship)
Everything will be fine, whatever takes place. I have impeccable faith... I have not been through anything as such but I am really praying for you. I do not know you or Nick but I couldn't imagine being in such a situation. You two have my 100% Faith, Hope, and Prayer. Good luck and Stay Positive.
Sorry ur going they this hun. If ur up to it, just pray. Sincerely pray for him and your family. Maybe it's not lymphoma. Ur in my prayers!
