midwife ?

Can I use a midwife and have a home birth after I've had a miscarriage or would I be considered high risk and need a doctor ?

Unfortunately, miscarriage is very common, especially in the early weeks.  It alone would not be enough to put the kibosh on a home birth.  If it was something unusual, like a stillbirth because of a rare inherited condition, you would have to discuss it with your doctor.  But a miscarriage alone is not enough to disqualify you for home birth.
