nipple cleaning?

Im a ftm 23weeks. I recently started leaking milk and my nipples are soooooo sore. The milk dries and my nipples are always so dry even with lanolin and lotion. How can I clean the milk out???? I tried a wash cloth and it doesn't get much and it stings. Any other suggestions? It makes me feel really unclean. ):

I've heard that you can use something dull but clean and shaped like a stick to actually just ease open the wrinkles in the nipples and poke it out.  A friend would tear the cotton off a Q-tip and use the cardboard Q-tip stick.  Anything that can be sanitary or made sanitary.  Look in a magnifying mirror and take a bath afterward.

With my first pregnancy, I used to wear breast pads with the middle soaked in baby oil. That was the only relief that I got. I tried everything that money could buy, tips, tricks, etc, and that was the only thing that worked for me. I also came up with it on my own, (never heard of anyone doing it at that time, 4yrs ago). I hope it gives you some relief!!
