There isn't one that they can move us to.
Don't break your lease I'm an assistant manager of an apartment complex they should transfer you units without any fee's if not get the apartment association involved
I agree with Annie Brooke you should be entitled to your deposit back if you do it that way..
Never thought if doing that, we have just started keeping our windows closed.
If you have not done this complaining in writing, start tonight and write a letter. Send it certified mail tomorrow, to the manager and to the building's owner. Don't threaten to leave in this letter, just say you are bothered by the constant marijuana smoke that comes into your place and since you have a child and are pregnant, you want the manager to do something about it. Then send another letter just like it in a week.
After two of those letters, send a certified letter that says the same thing, i.e., that you have a child and are pregnant, and you are not able to get away from the constant marijuana smoke wafting into your apartment, and that you have complained to the manager on [x] date and [x] date and he didn't do anything, so you are intending to leave by [x] date. Since weed is against the law, they will have no cause of action to come after you for leaving earlier than your lease says.
To be sure this wafting of illegal-substances smoke is in violation of the quiet-enjoyment clause in your lease, you could (after you send the letters saying you want the problem fixed, but before you send the one saying you are walking out on the lease) see an attorney or legal-aid person, just to be sure you are within your rights.
If your talking cops I don't know who it is. Owner, manager would know who and evict us.

Very tempted to break the lease since I do have a 3 year old and have one due in December.
Manager already knows and won't do ****
i have had the same problem mine was that i couldnt walk outside or let my child outside without getting a contact high.
In fact, you should be able to break your lease on this basis. Write down the days you smell weed and get affadavits from people that they smell it too, and your "quiet enjoyment" clause should be effectively breached and that lets your out of the lease.
Talk to the landlord, let him be the bad guy. Have him tell them he can't be responsible if they get arrested and they should smoke somewhere else.
Is it the neighbors or roommates
