checking for dilation.
Ladies so im 31 weeks and 5 days. And im terrified about when I will be checked for dilation.!! Does that hurt? How do they do it? Like do they stick their whole hand or a stick? How long does it take?
It's pretty similar to a pelvic exam
It's more uncomfortable than painful. For me, it doesnt hurt. They typically check you at 36 weeks. It takes less than a minute to do. No big deal. It's not as bad as you think
From my experience they start around 36 weeks some say it hurts a Lil but just uncomfortable and they check by hand. Takes a few minutes. It's nothing compared to labor pains lol. You'll be fine hun don't worry.
