pain on right side?

when i got out of bed this morning i had a really bad pain in my right hand side. i tried walking around, bending over and sitting down. i am 32 weeks and i have never had this pain before, it was actually worse then my braxton hicks. the pain was constant and it stayed for around an hour and a half. i have a subseptate uterus so i dont know if it had anything to do with it. if any know's what it could have been or has had it happen to them it would be great to get some advice.

thanks in advance

They usually do pelvic exams after week 32, usually start at week 36. Some doctors don't even check, you have to request it! The reason being that dilation isn't always a surefire sign that you'll go into labor at any given time.

I'm glad you called L&D!

i agree with joy....and webmd is great i use the sight all the time! oh and if the pain is closer to your back on the right then it could also be your kidneys.....even though my doc never checked me out when i had pain on my right side( closer to my back) i felt that it was my kidneys to this day....keep us posted!

Well your appendix is on your right side. It's hard to say what it is exactly but you definitely need to call if you believe it could be your appendix. You could try putting your symptoms into WedMD (they don't have one specifically for pregnant women, but you can at least see if it's where your appendix may be... remember your organs shift while pregnant).

If the pain comes back and persists, call L&D or the ER.
