implantation bleeding

I see a lot of people saying they are seeing the implantation bleeding..but I have seen somewhere that it "could" happen. Did any of you skip the bleeding on that day and still become pregnant?

It could be, however there are many other reasons to have mid cycle bleeding than just implantation. It could be cysts, irritation, impending period, etc. How far from your next cycle are you?

Yeah, implantation bleeding is really pretty rare. Also, each pregnancy is different so women who had it once may not experience it again.

I suspect a lot of the "implantation  bleeding" posters are describing is just bleeding. I happened to have light bleeding for 2 1/2 days prior to getting a positive pregnancy test -- not enough for a normal period (and the wrong week anyway), but far too much to fit the clinical description of implantation bleeding. That's caused directly by the embryo and is normally just a little spot or two.

Implantation bleeding isn't really all that common. Roughly 30% of women experience true implantation bleeding. You can most definitely be pregnant and not experience it.
